PURPOSE:To prevent inner shortcircuit during manufacturing, by manufacturing a cell while employing a separator shaped match approximately with the cross-section of positive pole active material. CONSTITUTION:Positive pole material 12 molded from silver oxcide powder into pellet is mounted on positive pole can 11, then negative pole active material 15 composed of zinc gel filled in negative pole can 16 made of clad steel board is placed through a separator 13. Gasket 14 is placed between said cans 11, 16 then the end of positive can 11 is caused and bent in C-shape to produce a cell. When inserting a separator 13 in such cell, said separator 13 is preshaped to match with the cross- section of positive pole active material 12, then fitted with positive pole material 12. |
