Labelling comprises placing a transparent plastics film with image precursor coating its underside on a paper sheet with image developer coating its upper surface, applying pressure to create an image on the film. sepg. the sheets and applying the film to a label receiving surface. The method provides a label which is essentially unalterable. The film pref. has adhesive on its underside.
