<p>PURPOSE:To secure an easy-to-see display screen by erasing both the line to display the new data and its lower-rank line at one time when the screen is rewritten. CONSTITUTION:Display control part 2 is formed through the connection between various types of memories 22-25, interfaces 26-29 and CPU21 via buses AB, BD and CB each. And keyboard 11 of data input part 1 displays the data given from the computer through input terminal 12 at display part 4 via driving part 3. Part 4 features the AC drive type gas discharge panel of the matrix display and consists, in the example in the diagram, character display block AD of 80-rowsX24-lines plus its corresponding cursor display block CD. Control part 2, after completing the display to full area of part 4 and after input of the rewritten data, erases the line to display the corresponding data and its next line and then displays the rewritten data in sequence in the order of the higher-rank lines.</p> |
