The outer building wall comprises masonry, an insulating course and plasterwork. There are pipes (4) embedded in the insulating course (2) and they are connected to a heat-insulated vessel inside the house, both vessel and pipes being filled with heat-absorbent fluid. A circulating pump can be included for the heat absorbent fluid and grooves can be formed in the surface of the course to take the pipes, which can protrude beyond it into the plasterwork (3).
