PURPOSE:To enable a normal printing on making the phases on ink injected from respective nozzles uniform by equalizing the fluid resistances of passages from the pressure cells to the nozzles. CONSTITUTION:Volumes of multiple pressure cells 5 are suddenly reduced by utilizing the deformation of electromachanical converters 4 provided to the respective cells, independent liquid pressure is produced in the ink in each cell, a drop of ink is injected from the nozzle 7 communicated to the cell. In such a device, fluid resistance of respective passages 31-37 from the pressure cells 10-16 to the nozzles 24-30 are equalized to each other. In the case of passage of a round tube, for example, since the relation between the length and the radius of passage can be shown by a quadratic curve to make the resistance constant, the cross-sectional area of a short passage 31 is made less, that of a long one 37 is made greater. |
