<p>PURPOSE:To transmit asynchronizing signals in the synchronous system efficiently by transmitting a code according to the result of mutual comparison among sample values for every fixed number of samplings. CONSTITUTION:At a coding time form every eight samples, a four-bit code consisting of sample bit 1 and additional information 2 is constituted. Asynchronizing signal 6 is supplied to transmission part 5 of communication unit 3 and is assembled into a four-bit code and is transmitted to the line through asynchronous transmission unit 4. Meanwhile, the input signal from the line is supplied to receiving part 8 through unit 4 and is restored to original asynchronizing signal 10. In this case, transmission part 5 adds the number of sampliings from the preceding coding time to the current time as information 2 of signal 6 is changed during this time, and transmission part 5 adds a synchronizing pattern as information 2 if signal 6 is not changed during this time. In receiving part 8, the synchronizing pattern of the four- bit code is detected to restore signals.</p> |
