PURPOSE:To obviate generation of a difference in the white ground after image formation in a part superposed on a photosensitive material and a part which is not superposed thereon by incorporating a specific dye into a dye fixing material. CONSTITUTION:The photosensitive material contains photosensitive silver halides, binders, and dye donating compds. which form or release diffusive dyes and the dye fixing layer which transfers the above-mentioned dyes is provided to the dye fixing material (A); in addition, the dye (a) which decolors under basic conditions is incorporated as well into said material. Oil soluble dyes and water soluble anionic dyes are usable for the dye (a) and said dye may be added to the layer near the base in addition to the dye fixing layer. For example, the photosensitive material is subjected to image exposing and water is coated thereon except in both end parts in the transverse direction of the emulsion surface thereof. This material is superposed on the material A longer than the width of the photosensitive material and after the material are heated, the photosensitive material is stripped. The difference in the white ground between the part coated with the water and the other part is substantially eliminated if the material A is used. |
