PURPOSE:To provide an electronic watch of superior design and functions by making an electric display above hands. CONSTITUTION:A light transmitting type nematic liquid crystal cell 2b is formed by sealing liquid crystal elements between two glass plates. This liquid crystal cell 2b is arranged above hands 1b and is connected with a watch body 7 electrically via a connecting rubber element 6. Further, to a dial plate 3b and the hands 1b, reflecting effect is given by mirror finishing, etc. By applying electrical signals to the liquid crystal cell 2b by operating a calling button 9 or the like, liquid crystal display characters 10 and the hands 1b can be displayed three dimensionally. |
