PURPOSE:To provide a water-based ink containing a specific phosphoric acid derivative, a dye, a water-soluble solvent, and water, which reduces the abrasion of ball and socket, gives light writing pressure, and has long writing length. CONSTITUTION:A water-based ink for ball point pen composed of (A) a dye such as acidic dye, direct dye and basic dye, (B) a water-soluble organic solvent having lower vapor pressure than water, e.g. (di)ethyleneglycol and triethanolamine, and (C) water, is added with (D) 0.005-20wt% of a phosphoric acid derivative selected from mono- or di- phosphat of polyoxyethylene alkyl (phenyl) ether of formula [R is 8-24C alkyl or alkylphenyl; R' is RO(CH2CH2O)n OH; n is 2-20], and their Na, K, Ba or alkanolamine salt. |
