<p>A compound having the formula (I) wherein R1 represents hydrogen atom or an alkyl group; R2 represents an alkyl group, or an alkenyl group, X represents a halogen atom, nitro group, an alkyl group, halogenated alkyl group, an alkoxy group, an alkanesulfonyl group, a cyano group, an alkylthio group, an aliphatic acyl group or a benzoyl group, n is 1, 2, 3 or 4 and when n is 2, 3 or 4, the substituents X may be the same or different and Y represents oxygen atom or sulfur atom,provided that X is other than a 2-chloro or 4-nitro substituent when R1 and R2 are methyl, n is 1 and Y is an oxygen atom and provided that when n is 1, 2 or 3 and Y is oxygen at least one of the radicals X, R1 and R2 is other than an alkyl group or a salt thereof or an organic acid ester thereof. The compounds of formula I are new compounds having herbicidal properties and can be prepared by conventional processes.</p> |
