NEW MATERIAL:Coumarin derivatives of formula I (R is H, alkyl, halogen; n is 1, 2; two Rs arbitrarily adjacent to each other may form a condensed ring along with binding carbon atoms). EXAMPLE:6-Isopropyl-3-(1H-tetrazol-5-yl)coumarin. USE:Antiallergic agent; they depress histamines from mast cells caused by immune reactions and the liberation of SRS-A and are used as remedy and preventive for allergic asthma, dermatitis, rhinitis and enterogastritis. PREPARATION:A compound of formula II is made to react with hydrogen azide or its salt to give the compound of formula I. The reaction is conducted in a solvent of benzene or so, at room temperature-130 deg.C. The compounds of formula II are partially novel and, for example, obtained by reaction of a compound of formula III with a cyanomalonic ester. |
