PURPOSE:To easily regulate a printing position by providing position display means for displaying a predetermined distance from the printing position, means for moving a sheet at a predetermined distance in a normal or reverse direction, means for regulating a position for slightly moving the sheet in the normal or reverse direction, and means for discriminating whether a present printing position is in a regulation mode or not. CONSTITUTION:A controller 11 is connected to a sheet feeding motor 6, a switch 7 for feeding a sheet in a positive direction, a switch 8 for feeding the sheet in a reverse direction, and a switch 9 for switching a printing position regulating mode. A reference position display mark 1 is provided, for example, on a ribbon mask 4. When the switch 9 is pressed, the sheet is stepwisely fed, and a present printing position is fed to the mark 1. Here, the switches 7, 8 are operated to bring the mark 1 into coincidence with the lower frame of a place to be printed. After the regulation is finished, the switch 9 is again pressed. Then, the sheet is returned stepwise, and the set position becomes the printing position. |
