A circular knitting machine as in DT 180 3295 has the needles braked by small leaf type springs. the springs are fitted into a groove machined at right angles to the needles, and are held in position by a push fit spring type projection. They are mounted in pairs, one of the leaf spring pointing to the right, the other to the left. These give a symmetrical braking to the needle. |
