PURPOSE:To eliminate hindrance due to metallic ions, and to prevent oxidation and decomposition of effective components in order to reatin their effects for a long term, by preparing the title developing solution containing a specified orgnic phosphorus compound. CONSTITUTION:An organic phosphorus compound represented by general formula I [R is H, -CH2COOM, -CH2CH2COOM; X is PO3M2 or -C(CH2OH)3; and M is H, an alkali metal, or ammonium], such as formula II orIII is incorporated with a developer in an amount of about 0.02-40g per liter, preferably 0.5-10g per liter. Preferably, a p-phenylene-diamine type developing agent is used for the above developer in a concentration of about 0.1-30g per liter. |
