PURPOSE:To ensure a constant printing regardless of continuous or discontinuous driving mode while increasing the response speed through a temperature compensation in the electrostrictive vibrator driving by automatically regulating the drive pulse width according to changes in the thermosensitive resistance element due to the temperature of ink liquid. CONSTITUTION:The outputs Q of a monostable multivibrator 2 whose pulse width PW is automatically adjusted according to the temperature of ink liquid or the ambinent temperature are simultaneously transmitted to NAND gates each. In the drive circuits 41-4n, according to the control signals C1-Cn transmitted, a switching of the power supply voltage VD is made so that electrostrictive vibrators 51-5n are excited only corresponding to the drive demand TO following the temperature compensation. Therefore, the electrostrictive vibrators 51-5n are driven quickly according to the temperature of ink liquid or the ambient temperature; short in the driving period when the ink viscosity is low at a relatively high temperature and long in the driving period when it is high at a relatively low temperature. |
