PURPOSE:To reduce power consumption by so constructing that, in a device generating time-adjusting pulses using a manually rotated disk, power is supplied to a light emitting diode (LED) during pulse generator, and when pulse generation is stopped power is stopped after a given time. CONSTITUTION:Closing the switch 20 to bring the circuit to the ready condition resets the timer 1, and clock a is supplied to the timer 1. Rotating the rotary disk 22 closes the switch 21, resets the timer 1 and sets the flip-flow 19 to allow d.c. voltage V to be supplied to the LED 2 and the phototransistor 3, generating time- adjusting pulses P. When the disk 22 stops before its transparent grooved area faces the LED, and its condition has continued a period more than specified, the timer 21 generates an output to cause the flip-flow 19 to stop, the LED 2 and the phototransistor 3 to be cut off from the power. |
