<p>Parent patent describes conducting or non-conducting materials sheets or mouldings, e.g. plastics, paper, metal and/or fabrics are treated to raise their surface energy e.g. with corona discharge using at least one profiled or blade shaped h.v. electrode tangential to a roller electrode and parallel to and to the tangent of the surface to be treated, both electrodes being on the same side of the material, the gap between the electrodes being filled with pressurised gas and the material touching the roller electrode. In the addn. films with vacuum formed cell depressions in its surface are treated on the other side by depressing the film on to the electrodes with a device. Method enables such film with cells to be suitably processed e.g. uniformly glued.</p> |
