PURPOSE:To balance in weight a half-bowl shaped distributor rotor and the component parts of a governor by providing the component parts at an opposite place to the lower part of the distributing rotor for stabilizing ignition timing characteristic and for preventing the failure of a rotary shaft. CONSTITUTION:A cam type governor angular-advancer 20 and a governor base 21 are made by halfly dividing the conventional ones of the kinds. A stopper pin 22 and a spindle 23 are planted on the governor base 21. A simplex governor weight 24 is fitted loose in the spindle 23. A slit 25a with which the pin 22 engages is formed in an L-shaped guide plate divided half, and a simplex eccentric pin 26 is rotatably attached thereto. A distributing rotor 28 is shaped in half-bowl form, and the component parts of a governor angular-advancer 20 is kept out of the lower part of a distributing rotor 28, i.e. the lower part of a rotor electrode 16. |
