The packing assembly is intended for matched pairs of components (10), particularly windscreen wiper arms and /or blades. It comprises at least one cardboard carrier strip (3, 4) and at least one transparent panel (5, 6). The components are contained in individual packs (1, 2) which are detachably connected to one another and each consist of a carrier strip at the rear and a transparent panel, with the carrier strips superimposed. The strips (3, 4) may be connected via a few points of adhesive. The adhesive may be a rapid-acting fusible adhesive. They may be connected via a perforation (14).
