<p>The racquet, especially for tennis, consists of a striking face on a shaft with a handle. Around the outside of the handle is a cavity for conveying air and perspiration, which has solid sides, and which has openings facing towards the surface of the handles. The entire shaft is hollow, next to the handle and consists of a tube open on both sides, with rows of holes or slits in the walls of the handle. A streamlined displacement piece is positioned near the openings in the tube.</p> |
