<p>The insulating plates forming an under-roof butt together centrally on the roof members and are held down by profiles with a top hat section. Fasteners are driven through the profiles into the roof members and the profiles are pref. filled with expanded polyurethane, polyethylene or rubber which holds down the plates elastically. Suitably the insulating plates are of closed cell expanded synthetic material enclosed in metal foil, and where they butt traversely across the roof, an adhesive strip of foil is applied. The complicated design, involving time-consuming assembly, of other systems are superceded, and a rational, insulating, water and dustproof structure is provided.</p> |
