Concrete lawn edging element - has vertical flange as side guide, and lower horizontal flange as support, for lawn mower cutting border

The edging element is intended for gardens, paths and the like, particularly for bordering a lawn (3). It consists of a one-piece concrete member which is sunk in the ground and has a vertical face (2) as a guide for a lawn mower (7). The face (2) is the side of a vertical flange portion (1) and there is a horizontal flange portion (4) whose upper horizontal face (6) is flush with the ground and acts as support for the mower. The vertical end face (8) of this flange (4) forms the actual border of the lawn.
