<p>The flap operated drive is for a small boat. The reciprocating flaps are pivoted in pairs, horizontally or vertically. The drive motor is mounted inside a round cylindrical housing slung inside the support yoke for the flaps. The drive provides a simple transmission for the boat, without undue noise or damage to water life such as is caused by a fast rotating screw propeller. The motor inside the cylindrical housing operates a reciprocating crank for the simple coupling to the flaps.</p> |
