The resilient disc coupling comprises a hub (11) carrying a central disc (10) with interconnected discs (20, 21) arranged to either side of the disc and capable of limited angular rotation. The disc has a number of circumferentially spaced openings for resilient coupling elements (30, 32) which engage recesses (22, 23) in the discs (20, 21). The discs are completely solid, except for a central opening (28) for a shaft, so that they form a totally enclosed liq. tight chamber (9) between them which contains the disc and can be filled with lubricant. Stops may be provided to limit relative angular rotation and throttles permit the lubricant to act as a damping fluid.
