Amidinoureas of the general formula I <IMAGE> in which X, Y, Z, R1, R2, R3, R' and R'' have the same meaning as in Patent Claim 1, and their acid addition salts have hypotensive and cardiovascular action. They are prepared by reaction of a correspondingly substituted phenylguanidine of the formula II <IMAGE> with an isocyanate or by reaction of the acid addition salt of a compound of the formula II with a chlorine-substituted acid amide.
