A d.a. converter has simple measurement check and simplification of the summating unit. The check on the measurement of the analog output value is carried out in stages by converting an output code corresponding to an output figure into code combinations of the same figure. It consists of a code scanning unit whose multiple outputs are connected to the multiple inputs of a switching unit. The code scanning unit has multiple data inputs supplied with a code combination. The code scanning signal is fed to the control input. The summation is via a resistance matrix.
