<p>The independent drive for accessories is used on a car and has one or more closed circuit turbine drives thermally connected to the radiator. The circuits operate on a Rankine process with special fluid. The fluid is vaporised by heat exchanger pipes passing through the radiator and drives separate turbines. The system provides a constant speed drive for alternators, oil pumps as well as ancillary drives and a power take off. It can be incorporated in any type of fluid cooled engine. The accessory circuits are totally separate from the main transmission.</p> |
