The chair can be coupled to others to form a row, its two legs at each side being joined to each other by a curved middle portion. Both the front and the rear legs are coupled to those of adjacent chairs. At one side the coupling pieces are fixed to the inside of the legs (3, 5), and at the other to the outside of them. The two ends of a coupling piece can be flattened and bent sideways in opposite directions.
