PURPOSE:To provide a high voltage generator usable principally for gas cooking stove, gas cooking table and the like, the device being simple to assemble, few in the number of parts and having a structure proof against deterioration of workability and durability to be influenced by boil-over during cooking and dust, etc. CONSTITUTION:Metal plates 6, 8 are placed against each other, and a piezo-electric element 1 is incorporated in a space formed by one-half portions of elongated slots 6a, 8a and bent-up pieces 6b, 8b. A leaf spring 2 is adapted to the stepped portions 6d, 8d, and a hammer 4 having a blow spring 5 interposed between the protuberances 6e, 8e is axially slidably incorporated in a space formed by the other- half portions of said elongated slots 6a, 8a and bent-up pieces 6c, 8c. After assemblage, hammer 4 slides leftwise as cam 11 is turned counterclockwise, and when said hammer is turned to a point where its engagement is released, it strongly hits an end of the piezo-electric element 1 owing to the acting force of the compressed spring 5 to generate a high voltage. |
