PURPOSE:To separate dirts or the like in the nozzle section and bubbles attached to the ink chamber wall easily and accurately away from the walls by giving vibration to the ink jet head with a vibrator put thereon. CONSTITUTION:Ink chambers 3 and 5 are provided inside a nozzle 4 for injecting ink and with the pressure applied to the ink in the ink chambers, the ink is injected to the recording surface. A vibrator 11 is pressed in contact with the front of a head thus arranged by means of a spring 13 so that it is vibrated by an ultra sonic wave at a resonance frequency. Consequently the front plate 1 of the head is caused to vibrate and forcedly separate bubble A, dirts and deposits of the ink away from the front plate 1. Then, they are isolated in the ink in an outer chamber 3 and discharged to a discharge port 9 on the flow of the ink. The surface of the vibrator 11 is covered with a coat of resin 12 or the like to repel water. |
