Light weight sheet for radomes

Radar screens are constructed from lightweight sheets with stiffening ribs of thermoplastic material, pref. polymethyl methacrylate, the ribs being solidly attached to the sheet and consisting of rigid foam, pref. PVC or PMMA resin, made in tubular form in glass fibre or textile fabric and impregnated with laminating resin.
