PURPOSE:To automatically adhere a tape on the lead of a lead frame in a tape adhering device by controlling the timing of the operations of mechanisms for feeding a tape, for punching and pressing the tape and for setting the lead frame. CONSTITUTION:After a lead frame W is set at a pawl 8, a cam shaft 13 is driven by a drive unit 11. A ratchet 33 is rotated by a cam 14 to thereby feed a tape interposed between rollers 34 and 31 in predetermined length. Then, a cam 16 makes contact with a switch 21 to open a solenoid valve to thereby transmit an absorbing force of a vacuum pump to the hole of a punch. A cam 17 makes contact with a switch 22 to drive a solenoid to thereby feed air to the cylinder 67 to feed the pawl 8 so as to thereby feed a frame W to predetermined position of an upper mold 38. A cam 18 makes contact with a switch 23 to drive a solenoid to thereby feed air into a cylinder to thereby raise a lower mold 47. The tape is raised while the punch of the mold 47 attracts the tape via its hole to punch the tape via a die. Then, the punch is further raised to urge the tape piece on the frame W on the mold 38, and further raised then to make contact with a hot plate to thereby thermally harden the adhesive of the tape so as to adhere the tape. |
