<p>When the water level in a clothing or dish washing machine rises beyond its normal level, it flows into a float chamber causing a float to rise carrying a permanent magnet with it. The magnetic field is then insufficient to hold a ferrous valve which drops into its seating in the water flow chamber, blocking the outlet, the rapid rise in water press. causing membranes to seal the water channel. The purpose is to provide an accurate water level monitor, with rapid cut-off in the water input, in a system unaffected by dirt or corrosion.</p> |
