<p>PURPOSE:To realize measurement for the current via the angle of polarization and the voltage via the phase difference with use of the same light and forming the optical modulator via the electromagnetic optical effect element, at the same time increasing the insulating performance to the high-level of voltage and current. CONSTITUTION:The light emitted from generator 40 propagates the optical path within the insulated bar with zero-point degree light 43 at polarized angle theta and transmits optical modulator 44 comprising opto-magnetic effect element to be reflected at the same time for feeding back through the optical path. Then channel 45 of optical modulator 44 is connected to high-voltage line PL along which current I is flowing, and thus polarization face 47 of the transmission light features theta' via generated magnetic field 46 to be applied to indicator 52 via light divider 48, light detector 49 and photoelectric element 50 each for indication of current I. On the other hand, the voltage responded via contacts 57 and 58 of measurement bar 56 having contact acorss insulator 63 of PL is applied to modulator 44 provided to the optival path of the feedback light, and the voltage is indicated by indicator 70 via divider 48, reflector 66, light detector 67 and photoelectric converter 68 each.</p> |
