PURPOSE:To prevent occurrence of impact at the end of reciprocal movement of exposure moving device in a simple constitution, by resetting the scanning exposure moving device in the initial position without impact depending on the initial set means. CONSTITUTION:When a scanning exposure moving device composed of optical systems 16, 17 magnet 500 and others is dislocated from the initial position, and the magnet 500 is not detected by detectors 38, 48, the stop position and back-home position signal OHP, BHP are both at low level. Therefore, according to the initial set means, a copy drive signal S1 becomes high level, and AND gate Q4 opens, then FFQ1 is set by a high level signal through inverter Q9, thereby generating a reverse signal. As a result, the moving device moves backward to the initial opsition, and the magnet 500 is detected by the detector 48, then the FFQ7 is reset, so that the moving device moves by inertia and is reset in the initial position without impact, where the magnet 500 is detected simultaneously by the detectors 48 and 38. |
