摘要 PURPOSE:To realize calculation for the predictive seismic intensity of the earthquake as well as to ensure the prediction for the direction of the seismic center by using the photoelectric amplifier tube with the scintillator mounted for the radiation detector. CONSTITUTION:Top part 2 is formed hemispherical, and scintillator 4 of ZnS, CaS, SrS, Bas, etc. is adhered via adhesive 5 to part 2 of photoelectric amplifier tube 1. Thus radiation detectors A, B and C are formed. These detectors are then connected to simultaneous counter circuit D via amplifiers A', B' and C' each and furthermore to micrometer 10 of display part E. When the external particle rays and electromagnetic wave hit scintillator 4, the output is obtained at tube 1. Then the intensity of current is measured by micrometer 10. Based on this measured intensity of current, the seismic intensity of the predicted large-scale earthquake can be converted.
