The present invention concerns a machine for vertical movement of goods, for example, transfer of parcels from a packaging belt 15 to a loading pallet 17. In one suitable embodiment of the invention, the machine consists of a hoisting cart 2 able to move vertically on a horizontally placed travelling cart 1, on which are arranged lift forks 16 for receiving and lowering of the parcel. On the travelling cart 1 are arranged counterweights 12, which are joined by wire lines 11 to the hoisting cart 2. The counterweights 12 are chosen to be heavier than the hoisting cart 2, but lighter than the hoisting cart plus the parcel. The transmission consists of an endless V-belt drive 4, which is firmly secured to the hoisting cart 2 at 9, and which is driven by a single small electric motor 3. During the work cycles, parcels are fed from the packaging belt 15 by the lift forks 16 of the machine until they thrust against a starting pulse interrupter 5, which starts the motor 3. By virtue of the weight of the parcels, the lift forks 16 descend until they are halted by the loading pallet 17. The motor 3 then pulls the travelling cart 1 backward. Meanwhile, the parcels are stopped by support rollers 13 and end up on the loading pallet 17. At a rear position, the motor 3 undergoes pole reversal through a contactor 6. The hoisting cart 2 with the lift forks 16 is then pulled upward by the counterweights 12 until it reaches a mechanical stop 14. The motor 3 continues to work and pulls the travelling cart 1 forward until it reaches an end position interrupter 10, which stops the work cycle. The work cycle then repeats until the pallet has been loaded to the desired height. <IMAGE> |
