PURPOSE:To obtain desirable state refining slag, by supplying a specific refining agent and O2 contained gas or O2 contained gas and iron oxide to molten pig iron after decreasing Si content and rapidly slagging CaO by the heat of molten pig iron decreased Si content. CONSTITUTION:Refining agent composed of 0.2-0.5wt. parts of CaCl2 and/or KCl per 1wt. part of CaO, is thrown in molten pig iron decreased Si content to 0.03-0.25% at the rate of 12-30kg/t forcibly stirring the molten pig iron. Then, O2 contained gas or O2 contained gas and iron oxide, are supplied to stirring molten pig iron continuously or intermittently together with throwing of the above refining agent. That is, vaporizing sulfurization of refining slag is carried out effectively by O2 contained gas supplied to the above dephosphorizing and desulfurizing treatment of the molten pig iron under the existence of CaCl2 and/or KCl. |
