APPARATUS FOR IMPROVING HERMETICAL CLOSURE BETWEEN LEG PART OF SKI BOOTS AND LEG

PURPOSE: To ensure the sealing of an inner boot to a foot in any tilting position by surrounding an upper edge of the inner boot with a belt thus sealing up a portion near the upper edge having no relation to a compression of a cushion of the inner boot. CONSTITUTION: A belt 6 is fixed to an outer side of a foot portion 4 to surround a rear portion 3 and an inner boot 5 at its upper area for preventing a crack from its occurring in the rear portion area in a forward tilting posture due to the foot portion 4 opposite to a front portion of the boot having a height even lower than the rear portion 3. In case of a simple structure, the belt 6 is fixed with a climb lock on the foot portion 3. The belt 6 is fixed via an arched fitting 9 which is engaged in an opening 11 disposed in the foot portion 3 through an extending portion 10. In this case, a position of the belt 6 is set via an inserting means 12 provided to the arched fitting 9. The inserting means passes through a hole 13 of the belt.
