The process consists, in order to reduce the bending length of the mould slide (14) due to the injection pressure, in holding the free end (24) of the mould slide and in gripping it between the two parts (10, 11) of the mould. The container thus obtained has an elongate hole (23) in its rear edge (6) and scalloping (indentations) (15, 16) in its facial walls (4, 5). The process is applicable to moulding, by injection of plastic, of the body and lid of a case intended to contain a spool for cinematographic film, for magnetic tape or the like. <IMAGE>
