Floating liquid decantation device - with quadrant cut=outs in stationary and rotatable horizontal pipes

A decanting device for liqs. floating on top of another because of lower specific gravity consists of a stationary pipe, closed at one end and with a longitudinal slot of one quadrant at the height of the water level. An outer pipe, concentric to the first, also has a longitudinal slot over one quadrant and can be turned relative to the first by a lever linkage. This device can be fully opened, closed or held in an intermediate position by simple means. It can be produced at low cost.
