PURPOSE:To keep pitches of an external conductor constant by correcting the period and length of a slot by controlling corrugation pitches of the external conductor by detecting corrugation pitches and feeding them back. CONSTITUTION:Center conductor 1, insulator 2 and corrugated external conductor 3 are provided and external conductor 3 is also provided with slot 4 of period P and length (l) continuously. Signals from corrugation pitch detector 10 are waveform- shaped by waveform shaping circuit 11 and then counted by counter circuit 15 by switching main gate 12 by signals from gate control circuit 13 which operates by signals from reference time generating circuit 14. Its output is compared by comparator 16 with an output from reference count generating circuit 17, a set value of corrugatation pitches. On detecting the both disagreeing each other, comparator 16 generates its output, which is inputted to brake control circuit 19 by way of amplifier circuit 18 to adjust the brake of forming circuit 9, thereby controlling corrugation pitches. |
