PURPOSE:To simplify structure by using an E-plane long slot coupler. CONSTITUTION:Branch couplers 7-1-7-4 couple waveguides 5-1 with 5-2, 5-3 with 5-4, 5-5 with 5-6, and 5-8, and E-plane long couplers 8-1-8-4 couple waveguides 5-1 with 5-3, 5-2 with 5-4, 5-5 with 5-7, and 5-6 with 5-8. Further, E-plane long slot couplers 8-5-8-8 extend along longer sides of waveguides 5-3-5-6 to couple waveguides 5-1 with 5-5, 5-2 with 5-6, 5-3 with 5-7, and 5-4 and 5-8. An arrival signal from input terminal 1-1 is branched by coupler 7-1-5-1 and 5-2, outputs of which are branched by couplers 8-1 and 8-2 to 5-1-5-4 and further branched by 8-5-8-8 before being outputted to signal output terminals 2-1-2-8. |
