A folding camera has a swing-down cover, pivoted at one side of the camera to form a handgrip. The camera has a tele-converter, in which a separate holder is swung in front of the camera to provide additional lenses for the objective and the viewfinder, with sprung ratchets to hold the tele-converter in the cover, or on the camera. The cover ratchets are stronger than the ratchets on front of the camera and require a transverse movement to release them. This ensures that, when the cover is opened, the tele-converter remains in the cover. After using the tele-converter the cover can be closed, - thus securing the tele-converter inside the cover.
|
