PURPOSE:To obtain the plate with a big amount of active material filled per unit space further with the filling uniformly made, by such means of inserting a bar- shape core metal into an active material element unit, made of paste-state active material being pressurized forming into a tubular shape, then with a protective tube coated on the above. CONSTITUTION:The base plate, with an ear 5 provided in its top portion and a bar-shape core metal 1, made of lead alloys, provided in arrangement of a line, is inserted into a tubular shaped active material element unit 21-23, which is made in such manner that, a paste-state active material, with a lead powder mixed by adding the binding agent like carbon fibers and dilute sulfuric acid, be pressure forming processed. Subsequently, on the active material element unit, with the core metal 1 inserted, is coated a protective tube 3 to obtain a plate 6. |
