The position-relation between a magnetic disk and a magnetic head, is easily controlled. A disk rotation device which rotates a magnetic disk (2) of a disk cartridge, consists of an outerrotor type motor (3) and a disk absorbing rotation assembly (5). A pair of magnetic heads (6,7) is moved by a head movement device to truck intersection direction. A guide bar (9) guides a head carriage (8) to disk radius direction. The height of a rotation body (5) is controlled by the rotation of a screw (19) which connects a rotor (16) and spindle (4).
