FILAMENT WINDING METHOD

摘要

PURPOSE:To prevent cracks and shrincles in thick filaments by uniformizing the content of fiber thicknesswise through the removal of excess resin oozing out on the surface layer of a bobbin from the fiber while it is wound on the bobbin in more than one layers continuously being impregnated with resin. CONSTITUTION:A long fiber loaded at a supply section 1 is wound with a bobbin 4 in more than two layers through a transverse section 3 being impregnated with resin while excess resin oozing out on the surface layer of the bobbin is removed. The fiber is directly wound with a mold 4' through the transverse section 3 from the bobbin 5. this can make the content of fiber even while almost eliminating any trickling of the resin due to excess resin by removal thereof. Thus, even in the case of thick products, elimination of cracks and creases from the surface is possible.
