METHOD FOR CULTIVATION OF LENTINUS EDODES Lentinus edodes is artificially cultivated by inoculating an artificial solid granular or fibrous culture medium with fungus seed of Lentinus edodes, cultivating the bed to generate hyphae on the surface thereof, covering localized areas of said surface with an air-permeable coating material before said hyphae become brown, continuing cultivation of said bed to cause the uncovered hyphae to become brown and then subjecting the bed to mushroom-growing conditions.
