The cross-country (langlaus) ski binding is designed to be used as adaptation of any downhill safety ski binding and can be used with ski boots having profiled flexible soles. The ski binding has a rigid sole plate (1) of stainless steel with a second sole plate (2) hinged at the toe end. This second sole plate has a rigid toe piece and heel piece (5) connected by a flexible middle section (4). The heel piece has side flanges (5a) with holes (5b) for a cable (6) which is attached to a lever (8), which clamps the second sole plate to the ski boot. The second sole plate can be held in the raised position by a U-shaped clip (7) which pivots on the side flanges. |
