PURPOSE:To minimize the clamp fitting area by converting the horizontal motion of the plate cam into the vertical motion of the clamp holder, and at the same time, by clamping the pallet on the table with the clamping pin of the holder without accompanying the deformation of the work. CONSTITUTION:The horizontal motion of the plate cam 3 driven by the driving device B is converted into the vertical motion of the clamp holder 15 through the rollers 6 which hold the multi number of the cam surfaces 3a, 3b of the plate cam 3 and are held by the clamp holders. At the same time, the pallet 1 on the table 2 is clamped by the spring 13 and the clamp pin 12 of the clamp holder 15 without accompanying the deformation of the work which is to be processed at the machining center, etc. After finishing the processing, the clamping force of the pallet 1 can be released by going through the operation mentioned above backword. By doing so, the fitting area of the clamping device can be minimized, the structure can be simplified, and the work can be firmly clamped without the harmful deformation. |
